We receive and disperse funding via two sources:

Federal Funds from the Federal Transit Administration
FTA funds are authorized by Congress via annual Federal Appropriations and Apportionments.

State Mass Transit Funds
SMTF funds are sourced from ¼ cent of the South Carolina Motor Fuel User Fee as authorized by state law.
These funds may be used for administration, operation, capital, planning and technical assistance.
