How do you drive a Reduced Conflict Intersection (RCI)?
There are a couple things to remember when navigating an RCI design:
- Minor side streets are restricted to right turns
- Minor side street left turn and through movements are made after turning right, then utilizing a U-turn
- The U-turns can be designed as signalized, stop controlled or just yielding.
