SCDOT requests comments on proposed intersection improvement project in Sumter County

Columbia, S.C. (June 12, 2026) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) proposes to improve the operational efficiency at the intersection of US 378/76 (Broad Street) and S-673 (Mason Road) in Sumter County.

The proposed project design includes traffic signal upgrades and the addition of a turn lane from Mason Road onto Broad Street. Please visit the project website to learn more and share your comments: projectportal.scdot.org/BroadAtMason
