SCDOT Requests Public Comments on the 2024-2033 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) to Include Construction of Interstate 26 Corridor Improvements Project Exit 136 to 145 (Phase II) in Orangeburg County
Columbia, S.C. (May 22, 2026) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation seeks public comment on the addition of a construction phase for the Interstate 26 Corridor Improvements Project Exit 136 to 145 (Phase II) in Orangeburg County.
The cost for the construction phase of this interstate highway system upgrade is $400 million. SCDOT will receive public comments for a 21-day period from May 22 to June 11, 2026.
