Columbia, S.C. (July 17, 2025) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation seeks public comment on the action to amend the 2024-2033 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) to include a bridge replacement project in Greenville County. SCDOT will receive public comment for the 21-day period from July 17, 2025 through August 7, 2025.

The purpose of the project is to replace the bridge on S-23-114 (Pleasant Hill Road) over Middle Tyger River in Greenville County. The bridge was load posted and has been closed to traffic following damage by concrete truck earlier this year. The estimated cost for preliminary engineering, right of way, and construction work is $2.96 million.
