SCDOT Requests Public Comment on the 2024-2033 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program to Include a Corridor Improvement Project in Laurens County
Columbia, S.C. (December 4, 2025) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation seeks public comment on the action to amend the 2024-2033 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) to include a corridor improvement project in Laurens County. SCDOT will receive public comment for the 21-day period from December 5 to 26, 2025.
This proposed project will improve the corridor of SC 101 (East Mill Street) between SC 14 (Main Street) and Interstate 385 in Laurens County County. The estimated cost for preliminary engineering, right of way, and construction work is $14.6 million.
