SCDOT to implement new traffic pattern at Oakdale Road and Harper Gault Road in York County

Columbia, S.C. (October 1, 2026) – The South Carolina Department of Transportation will implement a new traffic pattern at the intersection of Oakdale Road and Harper Gault Road in York County beginning Monday, October 12, 2026. 

For this phase of construction, the intersection will be converted into an all-way stop that will that will require drivers travelling in all directions to come to a complete stop before proceeding. 

The project is a part of the York County Pennies for Progress Program. 

SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to the new traffic pattern when driving through the area.
