SCDOT proposes to improve the intersection of SC 150 (Boiling Springs Hwy.) at Grassy Pond, Old Post, and Ellis Ferry Roads in Cherokee County. The purpose and need of the project is to improve the operational efficiency at the intersection while also improving the safety of the intersection. Proposed improvements include roadway widening, construction of new pavement, modifications to intersection geometry, and associated right-of-way acquisition where necessary. The project will also remove and replace pavement in select areas to help improve vehicle turning movements, increase storage capacity, and enhance overall traffic flow through the corridor.
