Columbia, S.C. (April 9, 2026) - SCDOT will hold a drop-in style public meeting to share information about a proposed bridge replacement project in Charleston County.
SCDOT will hold the drop-in style meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Haut Gap Middle School, 1861 Bohicket Road, Johns Island, SC 29455. SCDOT representatives will be available to speak with attendees and answer questions about the proposed project.
The project includes replacing the existing bridge structure with a new bridge that meets current design and safety standards. The purpose of the project is to correct structural deficiencies of the existing bridge.
