Columbia, S.C. (March 30, 2026) - SCDOT will hold a public meeting to share information about a proposed bridge replacement project in Cherokee County.
SCDOT will hold the drop-in style meeting from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Blacksburg Elementary School, 402 Hardin Street, Blacksburg, SC 29702. SCDOT representatives will be available to speak with attendees and answer questions about the proposed project. The project includes replacing the existing bridge structure with a new bridge that meets current design and safety standards. The purpose of the project is to correct structural deficiencies of the existing bridge.
