SCDOT to hold public information meeting about bridge replacement project in Richland County

Columbia, S.C. (March 27, 2026) - SCDOT will hold a public meeting to share information about a proposed intersection improvement project in Richland County.

SCDOT will hold the drop-in style meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026, in the fellowship hall at Fair Lawn United Methodist Church, 9203 Wilson Blvd., Columbia, SC 29203. SCDOT representatives will be available to speak with attendees and answer questions about the proposed project. The project includes replacing the existing bridge structure and constructing the roadway to meet current design and safety standards. The proposed roadway section will provide two, 11-foot travel lanes with 2-foot paved and 4-foot grassed shoulders.
