Columbia, S.C. (April 30, 2026) - SCDOT will hold an open house public meeting to share information about a proposed project to replace the bridge on SC 462 (Coosaw Scenic Drive) over Euhaw Creek in Jasper County.
SCDOT will hold the drop-in style meeting from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2026, in the fellowship hall at Ridgeland Baptist Church, 1448 Grays Hwy., Ridgeland, SC 29936. SCDOT representatives will be available to speak with attendees and answer questions about the proposed project.
The project includes replacing the existing bridge structure and constructing the roadway to meet current design and safety standards. SCDOT will accept public comments on this project through May 30, 2026.
