Columbia, S.C. (September 25, 2026) – The South Carolina Department of Transportation will conduct lane closures on I-85 over the Middle Tyger River for repairs in Spartanburg County beginning on Saturday, September 26.
The lane closures will take place on I-85 southbound near mile marker 64.
The left and center lanes will both be closed Saturday evening into Sunday morning, with the left lane closure remaining until mid-afternoon Sunday, pending any weather delays.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention when driving near the work zone.
