Columbia, S.C. (September 30, 2026) – The South Carolina Department of Transportation will conduct a lane closure on the I-95 southbound bridge over the Great Pee Dee River in Florence County Wednesday night, September 30.
The closure will begin overnight Wednesday and end the night of October 1. The closure is needed to make repairs on the bridge deck.
Motorists traveling southbound between Exit 181 (SC 38) and Exit 170 (SC 327) should expect delays during their morning commute.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention when driving near the work zone.
