Columbia, S.C. (November 2, 2026) – The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close the Zimmerman Road bridge (S-42-967) over Fairforest Creek for repairs in Spartanburg County on Monday, November 9.
The bridge is expected to reopen by the end of the year, pending any weather delays.

SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention when driving near the work zone.
