Columbia, S.C. (October 28, 2026) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close Stephen Drive bridge (S-22-525) over Browns Branch for repairs in Georgetown County beginning on Thursday, October 29.
The closure is expected to be complete by the beginning of December. A detour will be in place for this closure. A map of the detour can be seen below.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention when driving near the work zone.
