Columbia, S.C. (June 18, 2026) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation requests public comments on proposed repair, rehabilitation, and preservation services for the SC 395 (Kempson Bridge Road) bridge over the Saluda River in Saluda County.
The purpose of this project is to preserve and extend the service life of the existing bridge by performing comprehensive and cost effective bridge repairs. The proposed repairs will improve mobility in the region and extend the service life of the bridge.
