Columbia, S.C. (March 27, 2026) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation requests comments on the proposed replacement of the US 15 Southbound Bridge over Pocotaligo River in Sumter County. The purpose of the project is to correct the structural deficiencies associated with the existing structure. The project includes replacing the existing bridge structure and constructing the roadway to meet current design and safety standards.
