Columbia, S.C. (October 1, 2025) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation requests comments from the public on proposed plans to replace the S-978 (Tugaloo Road) bridge over Middle Tyger River in Greenville County. The project includes replacing the existing bridge structure and constructing the roadway to meet current design and safety standards.

All comments received during a project comment period will be reviewed and included in the project record. Individuals who provide comments will receive responses upon request.
