Columbia, S.C. (August 28, 2026) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation has closed the ramp from East Stone Avenue to East North Street following the discovery of a void under the asphalt. Emergency utility locates have been requested and repairs are scheduled to begin Monday, August 31.
Drivers should detour using East Washington Street. A detour map is shown below.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to the new traffic pattern when driving through the area.
