Columbia, S.C. (June 4, 2026) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will conduct nighttime traffic shift operations on US-501 between SC-544 and Myrtle Ridge Drive from June 7-11.
During overnight hours between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., crews will continue work on the corridor widening project, including paving operations and traffic signal adjustments to improve visibility and enhance safety for motorists.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the area.
