Columbia, S.C. (June 19, 2026) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will conduct lane closures along Pickens Street in Richland County beginning June 22.
The closure, along the 600 block of Pickens Street from Blossom to Greene Streets will allow crews to repair the roadway as part of SCDOT's Pavement Improvement Program.
Weather dependent, the closures are scheduled for Monday, June 22, from 7 a.m. - midnight; and on June 23 from 6 p.m. - 3 p.m. on June 24.
Detour routes have been established in green on the map below.
SCDOT encourages drivers slow down, remain alert and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the work zones.
