Columbia, S.C. (June 18, 2026) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will conduct daily lane closures along Harden Street beginning June 22.
The closures are needed to allow crews to install traffic barriers along the 600 block of Harden Street between Blossom and Devine Streets.
Weather dependent, northbound lane closures are scheduled from June 22 - June 24 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Southbound lane closures are scheduled from June 25 - June 26 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Drivers can also expect daily, single lane closures along Harden Street from Devine to College Streets from June 29 - July 10.
** No work is scheduled from July 2 - July 6. **
SCDOT encourages drivers slow down, remain alert and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the work zones.
