SCDOT to Conduct Flagging Operations on US-321 for Safety Improvements in Jasper County

Columbia, S.C. (August 3, 2026) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will conduct flagging operations on US 321 (Deerfield Road) in Jasper County beginning Tuesday, August 4.

Crews will perform storm drainage improvements as part of the project, with work taking place daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. until early October, weather permitting.

This effort is part of the Rural Road Safety Program (RRSP) which focuses on improving safety along rural roadways and reducing fatal and serious injury crashes.
