Columbia, S.C. (September 1, 2026) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close the bridge on Windsor Street (S-38-181) between Waring Street and Adden Street in Orangeburg to repair the bridge beginning Tuesday, September 8.
The bridge will be closed until October 9, weather permitting. Message boards are placed on site to warn motorists of the upcoming closure.
There are multiple alternative routes for drivers to use.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the area.
