Columbia, S.C. (June 22, 2026) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close the Turkey Farm Road (S-40-1694) Bridge over Beasley Creek in Richland County for repairs beginning June 29.
As part of SCDOT's bridge inspection and maintenance program, crews will install upgraded materials to extend the bridge's service life.
Weather dependent, the road is expected to reopen by early July 2026.
Detour routes have been established on the map below.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the area.
