Columbia, S.C. (July 1, 2026) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close the Stamp Creek Road (S-130) bridge over Stamp Creek in Oconee County for rehabilitation work beginning Tuesday, July 7.
As part of SCDOT's bridge inspection and maintenance program, crews will replace part of the bridge deck to extend the bridge's service life.
Weather dependent, the road is scheduled to reopen at the end of the following week.
Detour routes have been established and are highlighted in green on the map below.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the area.
