Columbia, S.C. (July 27, 2026) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close SC-145 just north of Center Point Road (S-77) in Chesterfield County beginning Monday, August 3, 2026.
The temporary closure will allow crews to complete intersection improvements, including raising the roadway elevation and upgrading the drainage system.
The estimated duration of the closure is 30 days, depending on weather.
Detours have been established and are highlighted in green on the map below.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the area.
