Columbia, S.C. (May 18, 2026) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close the Exodus Road bridge (S-264) over Chapel Creek in Georgetown County for repairs on May 20.
Weather dependent, the closure is scheduled to be completed by August 2026.
Motorists will utilize Jackson Village Road and Plantersville Road as detours indicated in the map below.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the area.
