Columbia, S.C. (June 5, 2026) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will implement a new traffic pattern at the intersection of Paper Mill and East National Cemetery Roads in Florence County on June 12.

Crews will realign the roadway to improve safety and efficiency of the intersection. Traffic barrels and other traffic control devices will help guide motorists through the new pattern. Additionally, a new stop sign will be placed on East National Cemetery Road toward US-76.

SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the area.
