Columbia, S.C. (June 4, 2026) — The South Carolina Department of Transportation will conduct temporary lane closures at the intersection of McIver and Old Florence Roads in Darlington County beginning from June 8 - 11.
Weather dependent, the temporary lane closures will occur from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. to allow crews to perform paving operations and install yield signs at a newly constructed roundabout. The roundabout is expected to be open to traffic by June 11.
Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use caution while traveling through the work zone. SCDOT asks drivers to slow down, stay alert, and pay attention to crews and signs in the area.
