Columbia, S.C. (May 22, 2026) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close the Boney Road bridge (S-40-1367) over Boney Creek in Richland County for repairs on June 1.
Weather dependent, the closure is scheduled to be completed during the fourth week in June.
Motorists will utilize Pineview Church Road, Wilson Boulevard, and Oakhurst Road as detours indicated in the map below.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the area.
