Columbia, S.C. (May 22, 2026) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close Beatty Road (S-40-311) over Stoop Creek in Richland County for repairs beginning June 1.
Weather dependent, the closure is scheduled to be completed by June 26.
Motorists will utilize Kay Street, St. Andrews Road, and Fernandina Road as detours indicated in the map below.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the area.
