Columbia, S.C. (April 24, 2026) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close and detour the Smith Dairy Road bridge over Beaverdam Creek in Oconee County for repairs on April 27.
The repair will begin on April 27 and is expected to be completed by May 18, depending on weather. A map of the detour can be found below.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the area.
