Columbia, S.C. (April 24, 2026) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close and detour the SC 823 bridge over Lott Creek in McCormick County for repairs on May 1.
The repair will begin on May 1 and is expected to be completed on May 10, depending on weather. A map of the detour can be found below.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the area.
