Columbia, S.C. (March 27, 2026) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close and detour Platt Springs Road between McCartha Road and Cannon Trail in Lexington County for a pipe repair beginning on March 30.
The repair will begin on March 30 at 9 a.m. and is expected to end on April 3 at 4 p.m. As part of this closure a detour route has been set up. A map of the detour can be found below. Please note that Platt Springs Road will be open to local traffic only, except at the repair site.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the area.
