Columbia, S.C. (February 24, 2026) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close and detour Hampton Road in Spartanburg County beginning March 2 as part of an ongoing roundabout project.
The road is expected to reopen on April 16, depending on weather conditions.
As part of this closure a detour route has been set up. A map of the detour can be found below.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the area.
