Columbia, S.C. (June 12, 2026) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will conduct temporary single-lane closures on the inside lanes of Interstate 20 in both directions at the Mineral Springs bridge in Lexington County on June 12.
One eastbound lane on I-20 is closed this afternoon for an emergency inspection. At 6 pm, crews will also close one westbound lane.
Crews will expedite the inspection, repair and clean up in order to reopen the roadway.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the area.
