Columbia, SC (September 19, 2025) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will temporarily close the Socastee swing bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway in Horry County on September 27 for filming. The closure will begin at 9 a.m. and the bridge will reopen at 8 p.m.
As part of this closure, traffic will be detoured using SC 544. A signed detour route will be put in place prior to the closure.
