Columbia, S.C. (November 14, 2025) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will conduct a temporary, overnight off-ramp closure of I-77 Northbound Exit 15B (to Percival Road) beginning November 16 at 6 p.m. The off-ramp will be closed to allow crews to safely conduct paving activities on Percival Road. Exit 15A to Percival Road East will remain open. This closure is expected to last until November 17 at 7 a.m.
As part of this closure, a detour route will be established. A map of the closure and detour can be found below.
Drivers will be routed to Exit 16 (I-20 East toward Florence) where they will remain in the right lane to Alpine Road. They will then turn right onto Alpine Road, go through the roundabout and take the exit to Percival Road.
Drivers can expect a single-lane closure on Percival Road where crews will be paving. Traffic will be maintained through the open lane.
SCDOT asks drivers to slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the work zone.
