Columbia, SC (September 25, 2025) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will implement temporary, daytime lane closures on I-26 Eastbound and Westbound near mile marker 7 for routine bridge inspections beginning September 30.
These single lane closures will take place on September 30 and October 1 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Westbound lane closure will take place on September 30 and the Eastbound lane closure will take place the following day. A map of the affected area can be found below.
SCDOT asks drivers to slow down and pay attention when driving near a work zone. Drivers can expect delays and seek alternate routes, if possible.
