Columbia, SC (October 27, 2025) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will temporarily close and detour the SC 412 bridge over the Tributary to Big Generostee Creek in Anderson County for replacement beginning November 3. This closure is expected to reopen in May of 2026.
As part of this closure, a detour route will be set up. A map of the closure and detour can be found below. Please note that SC 412 will be open to local traffic only except at the bridge site.
SCDOT asks drivers to slow down and pay attention when driving near a work zone.
