Columbia, S.C. (August 25, 2025) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close part of North Plantation Road between Meadow Drive and Sara Drive in Lancaster County for a bridge replacement project beginning September 2. This closure is expected to last until Spring of 2026.
As part of this closure, a detour route will be placed. A map of the closure and detour can be found below. Please note that North Plantation Road will be open to local traffic only, except from Meadow Drive to Sara Drive.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down when driving near the work zone.
