Columbia, S.C. (November 24, 2025) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close and detour the Cedar Creek Road bridge over Cedar Creek in Lexington County for repairs beginning December 1. The road is expected to reopen on December 19.
As part of this closure a detour route has been set up. A map of the detour can be found below. Please note that Cedar Creek Road will be open to local traffic only, except at the bridge site.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the area.
