SCDOT to close and detour bridge on Keeler Bridge Road in Greenville County for repairs

Columbia, S.C. (April 29, 2025) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation has closed and detoured the bridge on Keeler Bridge Road in Greenville County for repairs. SCDOT is working to expedite the repairs and will announce the timeline as more information becomes available.

As part of this closure, a detour route has been put in place. A map of the detour and directions can be found below. Please note that Keeler Bridge Road will be open to local traffic only, except at the site of the work zone.

SCDOT asks drivers to slow down and pay attention to crews and signs when driving near work zones.

Detour Route for Keeler Bridge Road (S-23-89)

Detour Route for Northbound Traffic on Keeler Bridge Road (S-23-89): Drivers traveling northbound on Keeler Bridge Road will be directed to take Keeler Mill Road to Geer Highway (US-276). Turn left onto Geer Highway (US-276) and proceed north until you reach the intersection of Dacusville Highway (SC-186) upon which you will turn left. Proceed west on Dacusville Highway (SC-186) to Keeler Bridge Road.

Detour Route for Southbound Traffic on Keeler Bridge Road (S-23-89): Drivers traveling southbound on Keeler Bridge Road will be directed to go east on Dacusville Highway (SC-186) to Geer Highway (US-276). Turn right onto Geer Highway (US-276) and proceed to the intersection of Keeler Mill Road. Take Keeler Mill Road to Keeler Bridge Road.
