Columbia, S.C. (August 20, 2025) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close the SC 11 bridge over I-26 in Spartanburg County for bridge repairs beginning September 3.
As part of this closure, a detour route is in place. A map of the closure and detour can be found below. Detour directions can be found below the map.
The repairs are expected to last until October. Once the bridge is reopened, drivers can expect intermittent lane closures to complete the remaining repairs.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down when driving near the work zone.
