Columbia, S.C. (November 3, 2025) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation seeks public comment on the action to amend the 2024-2033 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) to include the SCDOT/NCDOT I-77 Coordination Project. SCDOT will receive public comment for the 21-day period from November 3, 2025 through November 23, 2025.

The project involves evaluating and advancing improvements to enhance mobility and connectivity between the two states, while addressing financial, engineering, and legal considerations. Additionally, SCDOT will assume management from York County of Exit 90 Improvements to support the overall corridor’s functionality. The estimated cost for this phase of the project is $3 million.
