Columbia, S.C. (October 28, 2025) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation and the Town of Holly Hill request comments on proposed pedestrian improvements along US 176 (Old State Road) from SC 453 (Gardner Blvd.) to S-38-119 (Railroad Avenue) in Orangeburg County.
The proposed project will revamp existing sidewalks and crosswalks and will rehabilitate the entire roadway surface. The project will also include new landscaping, lighting and furnishings within the project corridor. Funding for this project is provided through the Transportation Alternatives Program.
