SCDOT Holds Meetings, Seeks Input on Bridge Repair Projects

Columbia, S.C. (March 6, 2025) - SCDOT is holding public meetings and asking the public for comments about upcoming bridge repair projects in Spartanburg, Pickens and Greenville counties.

Projects for Comment with Meetings

SCDOT representatives will be available at the meetings to discuss the proposed project with members of the community. There will be no formal presentations.

Greenville County

SCDOT will hold a drop-in public meeting about S-447 (Boiling Springs Road) over Brushy Creek bridge repair project on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Covenant Church - Greer, 1310 Old Spartanburg Road, Greer, SC 29650.

Spartanburg County

SCDOT will hold a drop-in public meeting about S-42-967 (Zimmerman Road) over Fairforest Creek bridge repair project on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Cleveland Park, 141 N. Cleveland Park Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.

Projects for Comment

SCDOT seeks comments on the following proposed projects.

  • Pickens County: SC 288 (Table Rock Road) over Oolenoy River
  • Spartanburg County: S-42-30 (Dan River Road) over Tributary to Pacolet River
