Columbia, S.C. (September 9, 2025) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation has closed the Riverbank Road bridge between Hillsboro Road and Rutledge Avenue in Orangeburg County for repairs.
Repairs are expected to last until the end of the month.
As part of this closure, a detour route will be set up using Hillsboro Road, US 178 and Rutledge Avenue. A map of the closure and detour can be found below.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention when driving near the work zone.
